The library does not routinely buy textbooks for courses. Sometimes, a professor will place a copy of a textbook on Course Reserve. These titles are held behind the information desk and most are available to borrow for two hours at a time.
Often, when your book is on course reserve your professor will share that knowledge and share how to access it. If you are in the library, ask for books on Course Reserve at the Information Desk. If you would like to scan a few pages, you can use the machines by the Information Desk or on the Lower Level.
If you would like to search and browse course reserves, you can use Primo's advanced search and select "Course Reserves" above where you would put your keywords. You can search for the title of the material, your course code, course name, or course instructor.
If you conduct a search from the library's homepage you can filter by instructor name, course name, or location (reserves will be at the Reserve Desk).
There may be times when your course materials are an ebook, article, or another digital source. You can search for those by title in the Primo search bar on our webpage.
